DE-MYSTIFYING IT SOLUTIONS

Understanding what you don’t know is key to choosing the right IT solutions for your company. IT is truly one of those things that follows the old saying “You only know what you know, you don’t know what you don’t know.”  Sadly, this is truer than ever and the major cause of this lack of knowledge is that major carriers and solution providers no longer educate their customers like they should.  They are barely educating their own teams.  So, what can you do as a customer when you need to seek out new solutions for your older technologies when they are ready to be laid to rest?

For one continue to check out this blog as my staff and I will try to share with you what we have learned collectively over the past 30 years and what we continue to learn as we investigate new technologies and the companies that offer them.

One thing we all agree on here is that there are more choices than ever and that no single solution fits all network design needs.  Things we will share as time goes on:

  • On Premise vs In the Cloud or a hybrid solution
  • IP phone Systems vs UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service)
  • CaaS (Contact Center as a Service) – No longer unaffordable for smaller users
  • SDWan vs Traditional Services
  • Carriers – Large Tier 1 providers vs Boutique Service providers
  • Purchasing thru the Carrier Channel vs directly from the Carriers
  • Consultant – Who and How to use?
  • IOT (Internet of Things) – New devices to save time and money
  • SaaS (Software as a Service)
  • Hosting Services – Google – AWS – Azure – Local Data Centers or Carrier Hotels
  • Other Customer Requested Topics

We hope you will be able to use this information and are always willing to provide additional information and help you customize solutions that are right for your business.
